Regina Pereto comes from Brazil. She studied fine arts in São Paulo and textile design in Switzerland. After several positions at textile companies (e.g. création baumann), she started her own business in 2013: with Vista Textiles.
Vista stands for view and outlook: Beautiful views are Regina's inspiration - whether they are views of nature, the cinema screen or the viewing of works of art. Regina brings two things to Vista Textiles: Their many years of experience in the textile industry. And their idea of how textile products should actually be designed and produced: Only on the basis of natural fibres such as silk and cotton, and only with suppliers for whom she knows exactly what is happening. Where it happens. And why it happens. Regina's collections are characterised by unconventional, colourful patterns: Not only the exotic colourfulness of Brazil is reflected in her designs, but also other influences from all over the world, which she is always open to. Scarves, shoes, pillowcases and trays have been created so far - further products are to follow.
Regina nevertheless succeeds in creating usable and wearable textiles despite all the demands of producing high-quality textile art in small editions. And admits wholeheartedly to its independence and the freedom it gives.
